How we work
Slow, careful, in four parts.
Every commission moves through the same four stages, on its own pace. Most projects run three to six months from the first interview to the final delivery, but the rhythm is set by the family, not the calendar.

01
Conversation
Every project begins with a long phone call — sometimes two — about who the film is for and what it needs to preserve. We listen first. Nothing is sold on this call.
-
02
Filming
Interviews are conducted unhurried, usually over two or three days in the family home or somewhere the subject feels at ease. We capture the supporting moments — the kitchen, the workshop, the morning walk — alongside the formal sit-downs.
-
03
Storytelling
The edit room is where the film becomes itself. We work in long passes, share early cuts with the family, and revise until the film honours both the person and the people who'll watch it.

04
Delivery
Final films are delivered in archival-quality digital, with optional physical heirloom packaging — built to outlast the platforms of the day. Files come with a brief written guide for the family on how to preserve them across generations.
